What:
Over the past week, the Hawaiian island of Maui has suffered extensive wildfire damage. Families have been displaced, businesses have been leveled, and emergency services are overwhelmed. There are parts of the island that are completely devastated, and sadly, the full extent of the damage is not yet fully realized.
Maui needs an enormous amount of help. As a yoga community, we feel called to offer a space to generate support. Therefore, we will be leading a specialty class where you'll be invited to come, move, breathe, release, and donate towards trusted relief efforts.
BEND Managers, Samantha Beasley and Pye Marshall will open the BEND studio doors on Sunday, August 13th at 3pm. We invite you to join us as we come together to practice a 75-minute heart-opening flow. To follow, we will ease into 30 minutes of deep stretching, and then hold space for a 15 minute emotional-release sound healing & savasana.
This class will be meaningful, and we will practice with intentions of compassion, love and healing. If you choose to join us, please bring your yoga mat, water, and a loving heart.
